Have A Nice Day (2018)
Position: Director / Scriptwriter
"A Pakistani immigrant left with nothing tries to salvage the relationship with his departed wife and son by trying to find new work and proving that he is ready for a new life. Yet, Hong Kong has no place for this ethnic minority who has no education and a criminal record. Taking a risk, he borrows a car from his friend and begins his career as a desperate riding app driver."
Have a Nice Day is a story of a father who does his best to support the family, a mother who does her best to be independent, a child who longs for his father’s love and a friend who is loyal to his brothers. These four characters sketch an image of the Hong Kong immigrant and are borne out of my own experiences of living in Hong Kong in the last ten years.
